WELCOME TO THE BROWN COUNTY PHEASANTS FOREVER NEWS

We are Brown County Minnesota Pheasants Forever (BCPF), a nonprofit conservation organization founded in 1987 dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasants and other upland bird populations in North America.
OVERVIEW & PRESIDENTS REPORT
January, 2022
This will be my last Presidents Report as the leader of Brown County Pheasants Forever. I am not going away, just stepping back a bit to spend more time with my young boys. We have made some leadership changes and I would like to introduce you more to our new leader Tim Kraskey.

Tim has been with BCPF for more than 6 years. He joined us and helped us move the organization into the electronic age. He has many skills in things like the internet, marketing, owns his own farm (he says he raises pheasants), management and is well connected to National Pheasants Forever Organization. While he says he is retired, don’t believe him.

The new board members and changes to the board are:

The next Presidents Report will come from Tim and I look forward to assisting wherever and whenever he and the team needs help.

Again, we want to thank all our members and volunteers who do so much to help in the Brown County Pheasants Forever (PF) mission.

Thanks, Dan Braulick, President Brown County Pheasants Forever.
2022 Brown County Membership Drive, 31st Banquet and Family Fun Night

As well as join us for the 2022 Brown County Banquet and Family Fun Night. This event is set to take place as follows:

Date: March 19, 2022

Time: Doors Open at 4:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Activities: Games; Raffles; Auctions; Food & Drink

Location: New Ulm Event Center

We will be posting many updates and details on the upcoming banquet on the Brown County Pheasants Forever website or at
http://www.browncountypf.org .

Some key changes for this event will be that we are encouraging folks "to buy early tickets or package bundles". You will be able to have your entry ticket on your mobile phone to get into the event.

We will as well be discouraging on-site ticket purchasing so we have a better handle on food. If you choose to come to the location to buy your tickets, we may not be able to guarantee you a meal. You will be welcomed into the event but, we are trying to track food, so we don’t have large overages which cost a lot of money to the organization. We hope you understand.

Ticket Packages are as follows:
Something new this year to stretch your dollars are, "ROOSTER BUCKS". We are offering a pre-event special and these are available in some of the Sponsorship Packages. You can get up to a 40% increase in your dollars at the event. But, you need to buy them before the event to get this special deal.

For those who are not getting this newsletter we will be mailing to our mail list how to order tickets.
We will not be taking credit cards on the mailer. To utilize a credit card all transaction will need to be made using the online URL below.

HUNTERS DREAM RAFFLE

One of our main fund-raising raffles: “The Hunters Dream Raffle” will be drawn in conjunction with the banquet.

This year we have six fantastic guns and a safe to store them in. The total value of this package is around $6500.00.

Tickets are $25.00 each and only 600 tickets will be sold.

All prizes are a winner takes all and are listed on the PROOF ticket here. We will have these guns at the night of the event.

Tickets are now available from any BCPF board member and other authorized sellers. Contact anyone on the board and we will get you a ticket.

Buy early, they do sell out ....

LOOKING FOR CORPORATE SPONSORS

We are actively seeking corporate or individual sponsors to donate “Monies for Prizes”. These prizes either a gun or key game/raffle prize, will be part of the banquet. Sponsor(s) will have great placement on a game or dedicated raffle for their brand and advertising for the event. We are actively seeking donations of:

  • Level 1 Sponsor = $500 gun or prize
  • Level 2 Sponsor = $1000 gun or prize
  • Level 3 Sponsor = $1500 gun or prize
  • Level 4 Sponsor = $2000 gun or prize

All sponsors would have exclusivity to that game or raffle with the logo prominently displayed. Additionally, sponsors logo or name will be mentioned in the event program as a sponsor, and they would be on our website for one year with that mention as well.

Contact Tim directly if interested in your firm being a sponsorship donor.
Lastly,
While we tried to have a banquet a two years ago Covid put a damper on many things. We hope you come join us and have some fun. It’s been nearly five years since our last banquet. See you at the banquet!

Thanks, Dan Braulick,
President Brown County Pheasants Forever.

KEY CONTACTS
MEMBERSHIP

The monies we receive through donations, fund raising, and membership are critical to us enhancing or purchasing lands for all the public to enjoy. We encourage everyone to renew their membership to Pheasants Forever or upgrade their membership to a Lifetime membership.

Pheasants Forever is the only national organization with a model of chapters keeping 100% of the funds they raise. While belonging to a larger national organization that has a voice on federal and state conservation policies, chapters are tasked with finding projects for their funds. Minnesota takes full advantage of this model using funds raised for projects locally as well as other areas in the state of Minnesota.
